With Bollywood joining in full force for India’s biggest and important initiative ‘Drug Free India’ by spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, India’s honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi too has lent his full support to the campaign.
He wrote on the social media, “I wholeheartedly support the #DrugFreeIndia movement organised by @SriSri Ji and his team. Their efforts will spread great awareness on the menace of substance abuse. Efforts like these reflect the collective will of our society towards a better and healthier future. @ArtofLiving.”
Reciprocating his love for PM Modi’s humble support, Sanjay Dutt mentioned on his social media, “Your support for this cause means a lot Hon. PM @narendramodi ji. I joined the movement with @SriSri guruji as a step towards building a #DrugFreeIndia. Hopefully, we’ll be able to bring a real change in our society! Looking forward to your continuous support”.
Film producer Mahaveer Jain, who has been instrumental in bringing Bollywood together for Drug Free India campaign, thanked PM Modi for taking time out from his busy schedule and supporting the cause.
“Our dear PM’s support & guidance to Drug Free India movement will definitely, save our youth from this dreadful menace. This youth energy can be channelised in constructive things. Thank you our beloved Prime Minister for his invaluable support to us,” he wrote.
